Dr. Thomas Bortner is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 17 years of experience in providing compassionate therapy through evidence-based practices (EBPs) to treat a diverse range of symptoms and presentations, including trauma/PTSD, anxiety disorders, phobias, depression, suicidal ideation/self-harm, anger management, problematic substance use, and emotional regulation challenges. Dr. Bortner has extensive experience treating both adults and adolescents with various symptoms and diagnostic presentations. Notably, he has dedicated more than a decade to delivering evidence-based trauma treatments to veterans at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College) and a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from La Salle University. During his doctoral training, he completed a predoctoral internship at the Coatesville VA Medical Center as a general practitioner and accrued postdoctoral hours at a private non-profit residential treatment facility for adolescents, where he continued to work as a licensed staff psychologist and later as an assistant clinical director. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Bortner serves as a Staff Psychologist and holds a Team Lead role at a nationally recognized VA Residential PTSD Program. His responsibilities include delivering evidence-based psychological treatments to veterans with PTSD and co-occurring presentations in individual and group therapy, as well as fulfilling administrative duties. Since 2019, Dr. Bortner has been a member of the Full model DBT team, which encompasses individual and group therapy, consultation, and phone coaching for veterans presenting with borderline personality disorder, treatment-resistant presentations, and self-injurious behaviors.

Dr. Danielle Farabaugh is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 18 years of experience applying evidence-based practices (EBPs) to diverse populations with a variety of symptoms and presentations. She specializes in providing compassionate therapy for individuals dealing with PTSD, trauma, and stress, and she is skilled in offering trauma-informed care while understanding the nuances of veteran and military culture. Other areas of expertise include the treatment of anxiety, phobias, panic, insomnia, depression, suicidal ideation/self-harm, anger management, and substance use disorders. Dr. Farabaugh has received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT therapist training, and in the treatment of PTSD. Dr. Farabaugh obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Millersville University, graduating magna cum laude with departmental honors in Psychology, and later earned a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University. As part of her doctoral training, she completed a clinical internship at the Coatesville VA Medical Center, working with veterans as a general practitioner. Following her doctoral training, she completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, under the mentorship of the late Dr. Aaron T. Beck. Highlights of her fellowship included serving as a CBT Therapist Trainer for the Beck Initiative Training series and taking on roles as a Research Therapist and Project Director of clinical trials that evaluated the efficacy of CBT. In addition to her private practice work, Dr. Farabaugh serves as a Staff Psychologist and Team Leader of a nationally recognized VA Residential PTSD Program. Balancing both clinical and administrative responsibilities, her duties encompass overseeing therapeutic programming, managing a multidisciplinary treatment team, conducting diagnostic interviews, and delivering evidence-based individual and group PTSD treatment to foster personal growth within a diverse veteran population.

Dr. Amanda Vaught is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating trauma and PTSD. Dr. Vaught also provides 

Dr. Amanda Vaught is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating trauma and PTSD. Throughout her career, she has helped hundreds of individuals heal from the lasting effects of trauma by offering compassionate therapy that utilizes evidence-based psychological treatments. Dr. Vaught also provides training and consultation on PTSD diagnosis and treatment to mental health professionals both nationally and internationally. In addition to trauma, she addresses a wide range of mental health concerns, supporting personal growth in areas such as depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, pre- and postnatal mental health, self-harm, suicidality, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and personality disorders. Additionally, she has a strong background in diagnostic and personality testing, offering tailored insights for individuals seeking a deeper understanding of their mental health. Dr. Vaught earned her undergraduate degree from Villanova University and completed post-baccalaureate training at Stanford University's Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Clinic. She obtained her doctorate from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium and completed pre-doctoral and postdoctoral training at the VA Healthcare System. Dr. Vaught has served as both Director and Assistant Director of a psychology internship program and was a founding member and team leader of a Dialectical Behavior Therapy program. She is also an active trainer and consultant for Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD and holds an adjunct faculty position at Villanova University.
